Beijing - One of the World’s Great Cities
Today our tour visited Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City’s Imperial Palace. We had a special tour of the living quarters and some of the inner areas of the Imperial Palace. After lunch we will be meeting with silk, jewelry and the museum business leaders to discuss the role of the open market system in the Chinese economy.

Hangzhou & West Lake Tour
Today our group of China investors depart for Hangzhou and the West Lake area. This is some of the most beautiful area of China. As one of the most renowned and prosperous cities of China for much of the last 1,000 years, Hangzhou is also well-known for its beautiful natural scenery, with the West Lake as the most well-known location.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Tour
Today was a busy day! Our China Trade Mission toured the Shanghai Stock Exchange, The Bund, Yuyuan Garden and Nanjing Road.
Today’s first stop was the Shanghai Stock Exchange. This exchange is the largest in Mainland China with a 2007 market cap of US$3.02 trillion. The Shanghai Stock Exchange is managed by a non-profit organization, the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
