Day 3 – Hong Kong Stock Exchange Tour
Today our group toured the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited is in the Central District of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is Asia’s 2nd largest stock exchange behind the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This exchange ranks 7th in the world by market capitalization. Our China trade delegation had the opportunity to visit the trade floor and have a presentation by management of the exchange.

Dinner at Victoria’s Peak
Victoria’s Peak, also known as Mount Austin sits over 1800 feet above Hong Kong’s Central District, Victoria Harbour and the surrounding islands. Our group of China Investors visited this prestigous residential area and we had dinner in one of its many restaurants. This site sees over 7 million visitors per year and The Peak is a major tourist attraction of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Central District
The Hong Kong Central District or Chung Wan in Cantonese, was commonly known as part of Victoria City. The Central District is on the north short of Hong Kong. This area is home to many multinational financial service corporations. Consulate generals and consulates of many countries are also located here. Most Hong Kong residents know the Central District as the main financial district of Hong Kong.
